June 24th, 2008I attempted to wake up early this morning and failed. I woke up on time and ran out the door, as usual, but not to a usual situation. Dave, my morning "bus buddy" was talking to some guy. They were exchanging contact information. I stayed out of the way, but still at the bus stop when the guy turned, looked me up and down and said, "DAYUM, girl. You are *beautiful*."
Now, I don’t know about that. It seemed like a bit of a stretch, but, hey, at 6:30am I’ll take that compliment. I will not be dating the guy I met on the sidewalk randomly, nor giving him my number, but I’ll definitely take the compliment. It was a nice thing to wake up to.
